It's been a little over 2 years since you've passed, but you sure are not forgotten. I'm sorry we lost touch after high school, but am thankful we made the memories we did. You are a sweetheart and we all loved you very much. Thank you for being the voice of reason when we needed you, thank you for being a shoulder to cry on, but most importantly; Thank you for being a very wonderful friend and always trying to see the good in everyone.

I felt like I knew him because Joe talked about him all the time (lol.... Joe is a very proud dad). I met Daniel in leadership class and quickly learned and encouraged him to become involved with Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. He did. I even encouraged him to run for the Western District Vice President slot, he had mixed emotions but ran and WON. So we became 2 members of a fantastic team! We travelled to ABQ, rode in a hot air ballon, travelled and planned regional conventions and hosted them (he was only 1 of our team to make it to all the events-so proud of him for that!) We even went to San Antonio, which is when he became my little brother (which I called him every time we were together) Also there we had mechanical issues with the college van and Daniel had went to our advisors' hotel to find out what was going on. He was very concerned that I was alone and had no clue what was going on. (I have a cardiovascular illness which Daniel took an interest in learning about.)
At the chapter's last induction Daniel realized it was my last one I'd attend he have me the biggest hug. (I've been a part of them for about the last 7 or 8)
It's memories like these that I shall carry with me forever! May these memories find light and healing in this moment and other moments when you find you're missing Daniel. He'll for always be in our hearts!! Gonna miss you little brother.

Words cannot express my sadness at the news of Daniel's passing. He was an extraordinary young man. He loved ALL people and believed in always doing the right thing. I will miss his smile and hugs but I rejoice in the fact that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we will meet again in Heaven. God got one beautiful strong angel added to His army.

Dear family and friends of Snipes as I know him, I am so very saddened to hear the loss of this beautiful friend, son and child of God. You wouldn't believe how many people that he touched, inspired and lifted up in his life. I knew him through my daughter Gabby. I always thought highly of him. So handsome and sweet. But mostly he was always willing to help any time.
