William 'Ped'e Smith Obituary

William Marshal “Ped’e” Smith was born August 3, 1972 in Oklahoma City to Eddie Gene Moore and Beverly J Smith.  He passed away April 17, 2021 in California at the age of 48 with his faithful dog and bestfriend, Sidekick.

Ped’e enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time at the lake with friends, and inventing things.  He was very creative and had an ornery streak.  He liked playing practical jokes on everyone, singing karaoke, collecting rocks, riding his bicycle, swimming and dearly loved his dogs.  He had boundless energy and loved swinging from anything that would hold him as he was always on the move.  Ped’e could always be found outside with the neighborhood kids having a good time.

Ped’e was preceded in death by his grandparents, Merl and Helen R Smith; and his aunt, Marian Miller.  Survivors include his mother, Beverly (Mongo) Smith; father, Eddie Gene Moore; sister, Khristal and husband Randy McLeod; aunt, Sandra Smith, uncle, Joe Miller; niece and nephews, Merl Weigel and wife, Taylor, Austin Pullin, Donavon Moore, Jordan Moore, Jeremiah Moore, Bentley Weigel; along with other family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021, in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
