Valerie Kay Pulliam was born September 4, 1961, in Oklahoma City to Paul and Anna (Brewer) Pulliam. She passed away July 25, 2024, in Oklahoma City at the age of 62.

Valerie grew up in Moore, Oklahoma. She was always worried about others and looking to have fun at every opportunity. She was friendly to everyone unless you made her mad. Valerie liked trucks and motorcycles. She loved going out to eat with her family and sitting around the table visiting. She loved her family, of whom she was immensely proud.
 

Valerie was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Anna Pulliam; sister and brother-in-law, Shelly Pulliam-McDonald and Merle. Survivors include her son, Paul Pulliam and his wife Julia of Norman; nephews, Randy McDonald and his wife Ashley, Ricky McDonald and his wife Samantha all of Missouri; six grandchildren, Bentley, Joseph, Colton, Lila, Gunner, Huntington, and one more on the way.
 

A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Carney Cemetery under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
