Treva Lee Parrott, 91, passed away May 17, 2025 in Oklahoma City, OK. Treva graduated from Chandler High School in 1952.  She married in August 1955 and enjoyed seeing new parts of the world through her husband's military service. In 1975 they returned to Chandler and settled in to be near extended family.

Treva loved coffee and especially enjoyed combining that love with a visit from a friend or family member. She enjoyed shopping and hosting friends for games of cards or dominoes. But her focus was usually caring for others, and she had a way of making each family member feel seen, heard, and special.

Treva was preceded in death by her husband Buford Parrott; daughter Monette Hart; mother Lela Wayland; brothers Bill, Garland, John, and Mike Wayland; and sisters Faye, Doris, Wanda, and Katherine. She is survived by her grandchildren Kate Thoren and husband Bruce of Oklahoma City; Kevin DeMunbrun and wife Stacy of Jacksonville, Florida; Kari Meyers and husband Matt of Oklahoma City, brother Glen Wayland and wife Judy of Chandler, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
