Thomas Elmer Donaldson was born March 19th 1952 in Pryor Oklahoma to Lloyd Allen and Anna Mae Donaldson. He passed away November 7th 2021 in Enid, Oklahoma at the age of 69.
Thomas grew up in Sweet Home and attended school in Wellston. He was in the United States Marine Corps for a short time where he sustained a burn to his hand and was discharged. He worked in the oil fields when his kids were small. He was the Wellston Volunteer Fire Chief and was also involved with the Civil Defense for Lincoln County. Thomas was a shade tree auto mechanic and could fix about anything. He loved hot rods and driving fast. Thomas was a truck driver for many years and spent a lot of time out on the road. Even as Thomas got older and his health faded, he still loved tinkering on things trying to make them work. He enjoyed seeing his kids and grandkids.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Anna Mae; sisters, Maud Tunnel, Edith Davis; and brother, Lloyd Donaldson. Survivors include his children, Tim Donaldson of Wellston, Tricia and her husband Rex DeMoss of Mulhall; five grandchildren, Aiden, Bailey, Cody, Toby and Cord; two great grandchildren, Kate and Wyatt; sister Vonnie Riley; other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Lehman Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home.
