Theo Seaman Obituary

Theo Faye Seaman, 74, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024 in Lewisville, Texas. She was born April 30, 1950 in Edmond, Oklahoma, to Elmer Lee and Lillie (Fisk) Baker. She married George Lionel Seaman and , following his death in May of 1988, she settled into Carnegie, taking over as librarian with the Carnegie Public Schools in August 1988. She loved her job with the Carnegie school and held the position for more than 25 years before retiring.

George and Theo Faye had one son, George Lee, who now resides in Bartonville, Texas. She loved her community, and often served as a prayer warrior, while being the “Best Mom” and “Best Grammy” ever.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Lionel Seaman; her mother, Lillie Baker; her father, Elmer Lee Baker; and a sister, Cleo May Baker. Survivors include her son, George Lee; two grandchildren, Lilly Alexandra Seaman and Ethan Lionel Seaman. She is also survived by one brother, James David Baker.

A graveside service will held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Wellston Cemetery.  A memorial service will be held at Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home in Carnegie, Oklahoma, from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, 2024. Local arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
