Terry Lee Thomas

Terry Lee Thomas was born August 3, 1937 in Oklahoma City to Clarence Wilson and Laura Oleta (Wilkerson) Thomas.  He passed away February 7, 2021 in Chandler at the age of 83.  

He attended Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City and joined the Naval Reserves from 1954 to 1961 and Army Reserves from 1961 to 1966.

Terry proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a gentle, humble and friendly man that loved visiting with friends and family. He never met a stranger. He was a man that loved God, family and his country. He was quite the domino master.

Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Carol of 45 years; father, Jeff Thomas; mother, Oleta Thomas; and grandson, Kolyn Loudermilk. He is survived by his two children: Todd Thomas and Kortni Howerton of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Jayden Howerton and Hunter Howerton; his brother Jack Thomas and wife Joan of Scottsdale, Arizona; and Jeffrey Thomas and wife Lou of Oklahoma City.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2021 in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel with private interment at the Rossville Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Terry’s honor to the Wellston United Methodist Church or the American Legion in Wellston.
