Terry Wayne Terrel was born May 8, 1948 in Chandler to John Terrel and Rose Marie (Grosz). He passed away October 17, 2020 in Shawnee at the age of 72.
Terry grew up in Chandler and spent much of his time with his grandparents, Henry and Myrtle Cheatham, on their farm. Following his father’s death, he lived on the farm with his grandparents. Terry married Donna Bone and they raised two children together while also raising his two younger sisters. In 1983, Terry married Paula (Davis) and they raised four children together.
He enjoyed fishing, noodling, hunting and his family. Terry was a mechanic and farmer who ran one of the best greenhouses in Lincoln County. After the spring rush of the greenhouse, he ran a firecracker stand which drew crowds from all around the county. Terry was a kind, caring man who had a great sense of humor and liked to laugh. He never met a stranger and will be mourned by all who knew him.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rose Marie; infant daughter, Erin; infant grandsons, Evan, and Phoenix; and brother, Phil Terrel.
