Shaun Royce Johnson

Shaun Royce Johnson was born December 29, 1959 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Leon and Marilyn Kay (Sneed) Moore.  He passed away November 12, 2023 in Oklahoma City at the age of 63.  His grandparents, Ostell and Lillie, were a major part of his upbringing.  Shaun graduated from Paseo High School in Kansas City where he met his wife, Tracy Johnson.  He had a long career in construction until his health began to fail.  Shaun was always in high spirits and made everyone laugh.  There was no doubt that he was everyone’s favorite and was especially loved by his nieces and nephews.
Shaun was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ostell and Lillie Sneed, Bernice Taylor; and his sister, Davetta Merrell.  He leaves behind sisters, Sheila, Chequitta, Juanita, Zanita; brothers, Leon Jr, Zack Moore; special friend, Janette Boutte along with a host of friends and family.  He will especially be missed by his parents, Leon and Marilyn; children, Tamika, Essence and Rayshawn; son-in-law, Brian; grandchildren, Samara, ShaNyah, Nadia, Devon, Nicholas, and Donte; he was also an honorary father to Starsha, Richard and Anton.
A homegoing celebration will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Lehman Funeral Home with interment following at the Mount Moriah Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
