Roy lee Cypert was born July 22nd 1936, his mother and father Crayton E Cypert and Stella Cypert, of Marshall Arkansas. Roy had 1 brother and 3 sisters. Roy had 6 children and 6 step children, Sharon, Rebecca, Barbara, David, Linda, Tommy, Deloris, Richard, Raymond, Riley, Roscoe and Janet.
He married the love of his life, Wanda Deloris Gordon, July 5th 1973, in Miami, Oklahoma. Roy has always been fond of his kids, grandkids, great grandkids, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren. His favorite holiday was the fourth of July, for 30 years he put on massive fireworks show and hosted the best family reunion. To include sno balls and sno ice cream. Roy was a police officer with Lincoln County and Sac and Fox nation for over 15 years. He established the very first Indian juvenile program on Indian land.
Roy was well known for his painting and body shop work he did. He won many awards for his work. Him being from Arkansas, he was well known in his youth as “Little Arkie” this was a knickname that stuck with him throughout his life. Roy was a huge cut up, loved to have fun. Especially great with kids.
Roy was a firm believer in what the bible says. He loved his God and Jesus. He hopes to see all off us in Gods Great kingdom. He always remembered to Pray for others and thank God and Jesus for everything that had done for him. Roy was looking forward to going to heaven to meet Jesus, and see his family that proceeded him there. Roy’s favorite prayer was the Lord’s Prayer.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2019. A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
