Ronald Joe Curtis was born March 23, 1938 to Woodrow B. Curtis and Margaret T. (Williams) Curtis in Lincoln County, OK. He passed away December 18, 2025 in Stillwater, OK at the age of 87. He was a longtime resident of Glencoe, OK.

Ron served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. After serving he eventually became an electrician by trade. He married Eula Clapp in 1964. They raised four children.

Ron taught himself to weld as a hobby. He made “yard art” and loved it. He also loved collecting anything and everything. He could educate you on everything he had collected.

Ron is survived by one in-law, Barbara Curtis of Perkins, OK; nieces, Darla Steffenson and Kim Evans of Wellston, OK; nephew Daryl Curtis of Perry, OK, along with other family and friends.

A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Glencoe South IOOF Cemetery under the arrangements of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
