Rhonda Kay Thompson was born April 10, 1955 in Oklahoma City to Billie and Lacy Helen (Morrow) Thompson. She passed away October 14, 2025 in Cushing at the age of 70.
Rhonda enjoyed playing with animals of all kinds, and playing “marble games” with family members was a big sense of enjoyment for her. She enjoyed puzzles and coloring books. Bingo was a favorite pastime, and she was very good at it! When younger she even went on a cruise with Richard Simmons. She loved going to Disney with her parents and sister, Gail along with going to church and singing with the Joyful Sound Choir.
Rhonda worked with EARC Edmond and several service other locations. Regardless of her handicaps, she was the oldest living Prader-Willi Syndrome patient in Oklahoma. She was sweet, loving, and never met a stranger. She will be missed by all who knew her. She would always end every conversation with, “I love you more than my life.”
Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Billie and Helen Thompson, infant brother, Gary Thompson, sister Gail Ann Thompson, grandparents, Coy and Bessie Morrow, Donnie Williams.
Survivors include her aunts, Clara Bishop, Virginia Dingler, Phyllis Johnson, cousins, Michelle Brown, Kerry Bishop, Jennifer Bates, Maci Brown-Straw, along with other cousins and friends.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, October 20, 2025 at the First Christian Church of Luther with interment following at Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
