Regina J James (Gina) loved being called Boo, Mom, Gina, Grandma Boo, sister, daughter, friend and the list goes on.  After battling ALS Gina left her friends and family peacefully with a smile on her face at 49 years old. Gina was born in Arlington, Texas to Mother, Ruby Jeanette, Evans and Father, Bobby Ray Russell.  Gina had many jobs but her main role was being a wife to Donald R James, a mother to Daniel R James and Angela M Ortiz. She made a house at home.
   When Regina had free time. She was baking pies, taking pictures of nature, reading books, and playing games and spending time with family and friends. Gina is survived by husband, Donald R James, son Daniel R James and his wife Marissa A James, daughter Angela M Ortiz and husband, Austin David Ortiz, and grandson, Jesse David Ortiz, mother, Jeanette Evans, and multiple other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Star Valley Cemetery in Chandler. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
