Ralph Leon Ratliff, Sr was born October 8, 1943 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Orville and Thelma (Pierce) Ratliff. He passed away May 16, 2026 at his home in Wellston at the age of 82.

Ralph married Reda Martin in Enid on March 20, 1963 and they shared 63 years together.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Thelma; sisters, Orvilla Mae Powers, Lucille Clinton, Lois West, Luetta Gooter, infant son, Robert Lynn Ratliff, Randy’s wife, David’s mother,  Michael Ratliff, Ralph’s daughter-in-law.

Survivors include his wife, Reda Ratliff of the home; children, Ralph Ratliff, Jr and wife Cathy of Windyville, Missouri, Randall Ratliff of Claremore, Jason Skaggs of Wellston; grandchildren, Levi Ratliff of Hardy, Arkansas, Teahna and husband Rickie Stephens of Panama City, Florida, Tianne and husband Jeffrey Holdenried of Nixa, Missouri, Cody Ratliff and wife Sierra of Owasso, adopted-by-love grandchildren, Ava Haynes, Ashlyn Haynes, Dakota Ratliff; great-grandchildren, David Tirado, Breanna Ratliff, Oliver Holdenried, Oscar Holdenried, Elijah Stephens, Amari Stephens, Kayce Ratliff; brother, Eugene Ratliff of Big Cabin; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A local celebration of Ralph’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Trinity Baptist Church of Wellston.  A service will also be held in Alfalfa on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 2:00 pm followed by interment at the Alfalfa Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
