Patsy Elizabeth (Hood) Simpson of Chandler was born October 20, 1940 in Lookeba, Oklahoma to Dan and Rhoda Hood. She passed away March 27, 2020 in Meeker at the age of 79.

Patsy was raised with 7 brothers and sisters. She worked as a seamstress in a sewing factory for 45 years. Patsy enjoyed being outdoors gardening and reading and loved playing with her many grandchildren.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jean Bonner; grandson, Todd Davis. Survivors include her children, Joy Ford and husband Jimmy of Shawnee, Jan Hodge and husband Danny of Chandler, Terri Harvey and husband Jack of Chandler, Tammy Stieber and husband Greg of Wellston; (16) grandchildren; (26) great-grandchildren; (2) great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Judy Jones of Cushing, Glenn Hood and wife Deloris of Cushing; along with many other family members and friends.

Patsy requested that no formal service be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
