Nina May (Fields) Haas

Nina May (Fields) Haas was born in Alabam, Arkansas on December 6, 1936, to Jesse Kyle and Zella Beatrice (Fielding) Fields. She passed away February 1, 2021, in Oklahoma City at the age of 84.

Nina attended Alabam Elementary School through 8th grade and graduated from Huntsville High School with the class of 1956. Nina retired from the Department of Wildlife with the State of Oklahoma. She then enjoyed traveling with her husband Melvin in their RV to many places including Texas, Colorado, Alaska, and many places in between.

Nina was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Melvin who passed away on January 18, 2021; her parents, Jesse Kyle and Zella Beatrice Fields; brothers, Sidney Fields, Henry Fields, and Joe Wayne Fields. Survivors include her brother, David Fields of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; stepson Don Haas and his wife Debbie of Edmond; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Nina and Melvin Haas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2021, in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Don Vaught officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
