Nataline Anna Collins of Chandler was born on August 6, 1925 and peacefully passed away on October 27, 2020 in Stroud with her sister Lila Wilson by her side. She was 95 years young.
Nataline was born to Haley and Viola Bouse-Walters in Chandler. At a young age, her father, Haley remarried Louise Miller in 1930 and thus their family began. Nataline married Bill Collins of Chandler in 1940, to their marriage, one son, Walter Lee was born on October 27th, 1941. Nataline's passing was on what would have been Walt's 79th birthday! What a way to celebrate.
Nataline was a lifelong resident of Chandler. She was employed at the Lincoln County Courthouse in Chandler in the Treasures office from 1959 until her retirement in 2020. 61 years in the same building doing the same job. What an accomplishment!!
Nataline's hobbies included Cheering on her beloved Chandler Lion's and Oklahoma Sooners. When she was able to go and weather permitted, she was a season ticket holder for Lion Football games. Nataline also enjoyed taking a car ride to where ever the car was going. Nataline was a regular attendee of Forrest Baptist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a season ticket holder of The Lincoln County On Stage. Nataline was also a member of the Museum of Pioneer History. She also enjoyed her Saturday mornings with Lila!!! In 1981, Nataline married Art Collins and they remained married until Art's passing in 1987.
Nataline was preceded in death by her Father, Haley, her mother, Viola. Her stepmother Louise Walters. Son, Walter Lee Collins. Two Husbands Bill and Art Collins. 1 Nephew, Mark Wilson. Survivors include her stepchildren, Larry and Pam Collins of Wellston. Jim and Mary Lee Washburn of Oklahoma City; sister and brother-in-law, Lila and Les Wilson of Chandler. One nephew, Tony Wilson of Chandler; 4 step-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020, in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel with interment following in the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Memorial contributions can be made to the Museum of Pioneer History or Lincoln County On-Stage, both located in Chandler. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
