Morene Louise Tipton (Moe) was born May 22, 1946 (for real) in Payson, Oklahoma to Ray and Matilda Wilson. Morene was the seventh of fourteen children. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cecil, Wayne, Jerald, Les, and Phillip, and two sisters, Wynoma and Janice. Morene married Jimmie Cummings Sr. on May 23rd, 1963. They had three children, Jimmie, Tacie, and Rafe. Rick Nicol joined the family in 1980 and was loved and considered by Morene to be one of her own. Morene loved children and always seemed to have an extra around. When her own children were grown, Morene became a foster parent as a single mother, which is difficult to do, but children were a passion of hers.

She had a very entrepreneurial spirit, starting and operating many businesses in life from building homes, starting subdivisions, buying gas stations and operating a local one-stop store where she enjoyed mingling and discussing the topics of the day with all the local friends she had acquired in her lifetime in Lincoln County.

Morene married Keith Tipton in October 1998 and spent twenty-seven wonderful years with him, enjoying the outdoors, life in the country, family dinners and grandchildren coming along. She loved to cook big meals, having everyone over who would come, especially her grandkids. Keith would jokingly tell her that if she could, she would have them all sit on her lap!

Morene is survived by her husband, her four children, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, six remaining siblings who were very dear to her, and a legacy of working hard and enjoying life.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Friends Church in Chandler.
