Larry Gene Davis

Larry Gene Davis was born March 29, 1953 in Chandler to William Odra Davis and Loretta (Brown) Davis.  He passed away September 12, 2020 in Chandler at the age of 67.

Larry grew up in Chandler and Meeker and joined the United States Air Force where he served proudly for 4 years before he joined the Army National Guard and served additional 25 years until retirement.  Larry married Linda (Benson) and raised 3 children together.  Larry loved his grandchildren and great-grandson.  He was looking forward to his second great-grandchild in March.  Larry will be missed by many.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Odra and Loretta Davis; brothers, Glen Davis, Mike Davis; nephew, Todd Davis; niece, Alisha Davis-Gallagher.  Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Linda Davis of the home; children, Tami Linhart and husband Mark of Granite City, IL, Chris Davis and wife Nichole of Godfrey, IL, Danielle Elliott and husband Jeremy of Edwardville, IL; (7) William Pedroni, Aimee Pedroni, Myranda Cochran (Josh), Logan Davis, Ethan Davis, Colton Elliott, Bridget Elliott; (1) great-grandson, Charlie Cochran and one more on the way.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2020 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnie Huffman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
