Kevin Jay Fuqua

Kevin Jay Fuqua was born in Greeley, Colorado on March 4, 1959 and passed away on July 28, 2019 at the age of 60.

He lived most of his life in Oklahoma.  Kevin attended, and later graduated from Davenport High School with the Class of 1977.  He attended Okmulgee Technical School in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, now known as the OSU Institute of Technology.

Kevin was a hard-working man all his life.  Dependability and loyalty were not just words to Kevin.  If he said he would do something, he did it.  Kevin was always loyal to his friends and family. He did not hold hate in his heart nor let past slights weigh on his character.  He was a gentle soul that will be missed by his family and those that knew him.

He was predeceased by his brother Joel Lee Fuqua, his mother, Nancy K. Petree, and his father, James H. Fuqua. He is survived by his brother, David M. Fuqua, and his nieces, Charlotte H. Freeman, and Natalie K. C. Fuqua.

A private memorial service will be held in Kevin’s honor under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
