Obituary
Karen Allen was born June 17, 1949 in Chandler to Ervin and Hazel (Wakley) Allen. She passed away July 20, 2022 in Oklahoma City at the age of 73.
Karen was a friendly lady who knew no strangers. She enjoyed going to casino’s, Branson and the river as well as cooking. She loved family outings where she shared her favorite cooking. Karen took care of people, never complained and always had a smile. She was the ultimate babysitter as children were a magnet to her.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Hazel Allen; twin sister, Sharen Allen; brother-in-law, James Mitchell; and nephew, Christopher Allen. Survivors include her siblings, Judy and husband Lester Lane of Cushing, Janet Mitchell of Chandler, Ervin Allen, Jr and wife Sherry of Oregon, Pam and husband Bob Loveless of Chandler, Stephen Allen and wife Glory of Chandler, Deborah and husband Jerry Greenfield of Chandler; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and too many friends to count.
A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
