Judy Carolyn Nordahl was born March 12, 1948 in Abilene, Texas to Charles Sterling and Alta Marie (Richardson) Hubbard. She passed away November 21, 2019 in Chandler at the age of 71.
Judy married Noble Nordahl on October 12, 1968 and they shared 51 years together. Together they raised a son, Lynn Nordahl.
Judy received an associate’s degree in X-ray Technology at Tarrant County Community College in Fort Worth, Texas. She practiced for many years at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth before becoming a special procedure technician at Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas before working at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia as an MRI tech. She had a passion for helping and serving others. She never met a stranger and would go out of her to help anyone in need.
Preceding Judy in death are her parents and her son, Lynn Nordahl. Survivors include her husband Noble Nordahl; her sister, Brenda; a brother Terry Nordahl; several aunts, cousins, niece Corey along with other family and friends.
Memorial contributions can be made in Judy’s honor to the First United Methodist Church of Chandler.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. with the family present to greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm Monday, November 25, 2019 at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church of Chandler with interment in the Oak Park Cemetery following. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
