Judy Herald (Nottingham) Ellenburg-Young

Judy Herald Ellenburg-Young was born September 21, 1946 in Sherman, Texas to Willard Herald and Thelma (Long) Nottingham.  She passed away April 5, 2018 in Chandler at the age of 71.

Judy loved to talk and never met a stranger.  She enjoyed her work for many years appraising airplanes.  She enjoyed her vacations, traveling to Georgia, New Mexico and many other destinations.  She was an avid collector of salt and pepper shakers.  Judy loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 50 years, Kenneth Ellenburg; and daughter, Sherri Lee Wolford.  Survivors include her son, Kenneth Dale Ellenburg, Jr.; (8) grandchildren, Rhea and her husband Chris Ray, Ted Griffin and his wife Amber, Sonja and her husband Richard Ray, Kenneth Dale Ellenburg, III and wife, Sandra; Julie, Chris, Norman, Jerry (5) great-grandchildren, Clayton, Baile, Makayla, Blake, Clay; siblings, Patty and her husband Alex Munson, Arvle Hicks, both of Texas; and her current husband, Jack Young.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Chandler.  Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
