Joyce Ann (Vails) Hallock

Joyce Ann Vails Hallock was born to John and Fern Bodine Vails on August 28, 1946 in Siloam Springs Arkansas.  She passed from this earthly life to her heavenly home on July 7, 2022 in Tuttle at the age of 75.

The family moved to Oklahoma and Joyce grew up in Wellston where she graduated in 1965.  She met Richard Hallock and was married to him on April 1, 1966.  He died January 31, 2010.  Richard and Joyce had two children, Joy Lynn Hallock Ramirez, and Jimmy Leon Hallock.  Joyce loved spending time with her family.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Lee Vails.  She is survived by her sister, Ellen Jantz of Riley, Kansas; brother, John Vails and wife Donna of Wellston; 2 children, Joy Lynn Ramirez and husband Manuel of Tuttle, Jimmy Leon Hallock of Connecticut; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Savage and Jeremy Ramirez, Emily, Cody, Austin and Gavin Hallock; 5 great-grandchildren, Brayden and Hunter Savage, Dayton, Kaydence, and Remington Ramirez. 

She will be truly missed by family, friends and neighbors.  A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the McLoud First Assembly of God with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
