Jon Levy

Jonathan Charles Levy was born June 22, 1970 in LaMesa, California to Dana and Mary (Foster) Levy.  He passed away in Chandler, Oklahoma April 3, 2023 at the age of 52.
 
Jon grew up in Davenport where he graduated with the Davenport High School class of 1988.  He was also a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  Jon excelled at many sports.  He enjoyed golfing and swimming in school and was an avid gun enthusiast.  He served his country proudly in the United States Navy, later retiring from the United States Army following his career as a combat helicopter pilot, 160th SOAR (A) Night Stalkers, where he earned several awards.  He served multiple overseas tours during his decorated military career.  He was a member of the Special Ops on an Air Assault Chinook.  He had a welcoming and infectious smile, a wicked sense of humor and never met a stranger.  He was always joking and had friends all over the world. 
 
Jon was preceded in death by grandparent's, Charles Arvid and Ruth Ball (Broadrick) Levy, Leonard and Frances Foster, Dexter Levy, David Levy, Murry Foster, Sue Foster and his cousin, Anna Siler.  Survivors include his parents, Dana and Mary Levy; children, Matthew Levy and Allison Levy, and their mother, Sherry Levy; the love of his life, Suzie Foster; siblings, Jim Levy, Jeff Levy and wife, Becky; cousin, Matt Foster; along with many other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A Celebration of Jon’s life will take place at the family farm in Chandler on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Noon. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
