Jesse Alvin Kilgore was born December 16, 1928 in Hutchison County, Texas to Jesse and Nellie (Gray) Kilgore.  He went missing during a walk 11 years ago and had since been presumed deceased.  While work was being done on a pipeline North of Kendrick his remains were discovered October 8, 2021.

Jesse served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp.  He then became a welder in the oil field retiring from John Cassidy following many years of service.

Jesse’s remains will be laid to rest next to his late wife, Elsie Mae (Reed) Kilgore in the Davenport Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022 with military honors.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
