Jerry Lee 'Jay' Tubbs, Jr

Jerry Lee ‘Jay’ Tubbs, Jr was born September 8, 1977, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Jerry Lee Tubbs, Sr. and Teresa Wrenn. He passed away July 14, 2019, in Shawnee at the age of 41.

Jay is preceded in death by his grandparents, A.W. and Myrtle Tubbs, Erbert Wrenn, Sr., and Ostella Sneed; uncles Robert Lee, Freddie ‘Lonnie’ Tubbs,

Raymond Tubbs, A.W. ‘Buster’ Tubbs, III, Donnell Sneed, and Erbert ‘Pete’ Wrenn.

Jay grew up and attended school in Chandler and Meeker. He enjoyed sports including football, being outdoors, riding four-wheelers and motorcycles.

He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Dalen Tubbs, daughters Jaelynn Tubbs, and Alexis Tubbs; his mother Teresa Wrenn (AV), father Jerry Tubbs, Sr. (JoAnn); sister, Telisha Tubbs; nieces, Markesia Tubbs, Aniyah Holland, Aysia Wrenn; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019, in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
