Jerry Allen Hagar was born May 31, 1938 in Luther and passed away June 3, 2024 in Oklahoma City at the age of 86.
Jerry served his country proudly in the United States Navy with multiple tours in the Vietnam War. He was an avid coin collector and enjoyed fishing, noodling, and going to the casino. Most of all, Jerry loved spending time with his family.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Florence Babiak; son, Dana Hagar, brother, Eddie Coleman; and daughter, Lori Thomas. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Mary Hagar of the home; children, Allen Hagar and wife Cindy of Wellston, Drew Hagar and wife Nancy of Prague, Wayne Thomas of Wellston, Michelle Shofstall and husband Rodney of Edmond, Angie Thomas of Wellston; 12 grandchildren, Aaron, Alec, Harley, Chelsea, Dennis, Samantha, Christian, Jonathan, Nicole, Ashley, Thomas, Nicholas; 10 great-grandchildren, Olivia, Zach, Nova, Haley, Mikah, Jamie, Moria, Haidan, Kinsley, Finn; along with other family and friends.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the Wellston Cemetery under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
