Harry Dale Keith was born June 6, 1952 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Dewey and Dottie Mae (Newsom) Keith. He passed away January 11, 2022 in Council Hill, Oklahoma at the age of 69.
Harry worked in the scrap business from the time he was 15 years old. As time went on he became the operator of his own truck driving for his personal company for many years. He taught a couple of the boys, Ray and Nico to drive trucks. He and his wife have built 3 homes together and enjoyed life. He raised cattle till retirement at the age of 62 when he and his wife, Christine, made the decision to sell the farm and move to the lake.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Dottie Keith; brothers, Jimmy Keith, Larry Keith; sister, Cora Woolwine; and his son, Randy Keith. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Christine Keith of the home; children, John Keith and wife Michelle of Davenport, Linda and her husband Jay Eversole of Davenport, Sandy and her husband Johnny Atterberry of Oklahoma City, Harry Dale Keith, Jr. of Oklahoma City; chosen children, Shelia and her husband Robby Moose of Council Hill, Shandalla and her husband Nicolas Arteaga of Davenport, Ray Torix of Council Hill, Brett Qualls of Checotah; siblings, Ethel Jackson of Oklahoma City, Harold Kennedy and his wife Sandy of Lindsay; 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren along with other family and friends.
A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Elm Grove Baptist Church in Council Hill, Oklahoma with interment following in the McClain Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
