Gerald Leon Cooper was born September 22, 1942 in Reno, Nevada and passed away April 28, 2022 in Meeker at the age of 79.
Gerald was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a Tool Pusher in the Oilfield for many years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren fishing.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Velma Jean Cooper, wife, Della Cooper; son, Dwayne Cooper, and daughter, Viola Cooper. Survivors include his daughter, Vetha Newby and her husband Orb of Meeker; son, Don Cooper of North Carolina; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family and friends.
