Gary Gaylord

Gary Wayne Gaylord was born June 10, 1954, in Okeene, Oklahoma to Earl and Letha (Bensch) Gaylord, joining his older siblings: Meredith, Ron, Scotty and Earlene.  He passed away January 3, 2025, at his home in Meeker at the age of seventy.

Gary attended Seiling Public School, graduating in 1972.  He joined his brother, Ron, in the construction business where he excelled in carpentry and concrete work.  He also performed surveying and laying out building sites, eventually becoming a superintendent running job sites.  He took immense pride in his work, feeling he was learning from the best.

Gary enjoyed buying his land and improving it with his home, improved grass, and hay production for his cattle, and sharing home areas for his son and grandson and their families.  He served on the local cemetery board where he used his surveying skills. He enjoyed traveling to Alaska to fish.

Surviving Gary is his wife, Holly; son, Bryce (Kari); grandchildren, Logan (Sarah), Savanah, and a bonus grandson, Jake Davis; as well as his brother, Scotty and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A private interment will be held at a later date.  Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
