Garth David Plymale

Garth David Plymale was born in Fowler, KS, on May 25, 1938.  He passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 83.

He married Margaret Kay Plymale (Harris) on June 13, 1964, while serving in the Kansas Army National Guard.  They moved to Moore, OK, in 1968.

Garth was an automobile mechanic and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and after hours with his buddies, many of whom were lifelong friends.

In 1993, he built their home in Luther, OK, and was a member of Luther Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Vilas and Bessie (Barclay) Plymale; grandson, Cory Ryan Moore; and three brothers.  Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Kay Plymale; daughter, Trenda Plymale; two sons, Kelly Plymale and his wife Kara, Mark Plymale and his wife Thelma; three brothers, Arwin Plymale, Dave Plymale, and Vance Plymale; two granddaughters, Cheyann Moore and Ashtyn Plymale.

A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Church of Christ in Luther.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
