Edwin Lafeyette Wiseman was born May 26, 1935 in Garland, Oklahoma to Clarence and Chelsea (Edwards) Wiseman.  He passed away January 14, 2022 in Stillwater at the age of 86.

Edwin graduated from Englewood High School in Kansas where he was active in nearly all sports the school had.  After graduating he served his country proudly in the United States Army stationed in Germany.  He married Jody (Sizelove) and raised two children together.  Edwin later married Naomi (Lay) and shared the next 42 years together until she passed away.  When Edwin was younger, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Most recently he enjoyed the local café where he told storied to anyone who would listen.

Edwin was preceded in death by his wives, Jody and Naomi; brother, Wallace Wiseman; and his sisters, Marion and Gene.  Survivors include his children, Pam Moore and her husband Cliff of Rush Springs, John Wiseman and his wife Wendy of Carney, Monty Block and his wife Susan of Kingsville, MO, Vicki Rolland and Roger Sigrist of Stillwater, Cindy Cates and her husband Alan of Sand Springs, Brett Prothe of St Louis, MO; sister, Clarice Dixon of Tulsa; (19) grandchildren, (22) great-grandchildren; along with other family and friends.

A graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Oklahoma with Reverend Steve Brown officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
