Dowanna Faye Lamb was born on February 9, 1930 in Kendrick, Oklahoma to Orville Lee and Lydia Opal (Miller) Smith. She passed away on January 30, 2018 in Chandler at the age of 87.
Dowanna loved to crochet, working with her flowers and gardening. She loved watching her grandchildren play ball and was their biggest fan. She worked many years as a CNA at both Mileham Hospital in Chandler and Stroud Regional Medical Center.
Dowanna was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce Henry; and brother, Melvin Smith. Survivors include her children, Linda and her husband Richard Worley of Konawa, Twyla and her husband, Dwayne Moss of Mannford, Mike Lamb and his wife, Terri of Chandler; sister, Mary Blaney of Davenport; (6) grandchildren, Shelly Heath, James Worley, Amy Chambers, Emily Hand, Stacy Jones, and Robert Lamb; (9) great-grandchildren, Ashley Heath, Autumn Rossiter, Miranda Rossiter, Johnathon Rossiter, Caden Chambers, Conner Chambers, Jaxon Hand, Eelon Hand, Brooklynn Hand and one on the way; along with other family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Lehman Funeral Home with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Connection Assembly of God Church in Davenport with interment following at the New Zion Cemetery in Chandler. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
