Floris Dorene Wyatt was born July 19, 1940 in Luther to Bert and Fern (Franklin) Lowery.  She passed away July 5, 2022 in Edmond at the age of 81.

Dorene grew up in Luther where she attended school graduating with the Luther Highschool Class of 1958.  She married Dick Bourlon in 1958 and they raised 3 children together.

Dorene was active in the Luther Jaycee’s,and attending FFA Stock Shows.  She worked for the Oklahoma Tax Commission until retiring following 27 years of service.  She later married Larry Wyatt and they enjoyed their Puggle’s together.  Dorene enjoyed baking, entertaining and garage sales.  She loved spending time with her niece Raenell Lowery who she went to the casino with and to go fishing.  In the last few years she enjoyed living with her niece Rena (Lowery) Johnson as they looked after each another.

Dorene was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Fern Lowery; husbands, Dick Bourlon and Larry Wyatt; brothers, Bill Lowery, Jack Lowery; and her grandson, Joel Brockamp.  Survivors include her children, Belinda Melton and husband Willy of Luther, Twila Bourlon of Edmond, Kevin Bourlon and wife Betty of Wellstonl (6) grandchildren, (10) great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren along with other family and friends.

A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with private interment following in the Luther Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
