Donna Sue Hancock was born in Oklahoma City June 25, 1951, to Paul Taylor and Virginia (Robinson) Larkin. She passed away August 16, 2020 at the age of 69.
Donna grew up in Pryor where she graduated high school in 1969. She later moved to Oklahoma City where she met Ronal Hancock in November 1973. They were married February 23, 1974, in Oklahoma City and raised 3 sons together.
Donna was passionate about her work with Social Services where she dedicated her life to helping children. She later worked as a caseworker and counselor for the Department of Corrections at Mabel Bassett. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and sewing. Donna loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren eating chicken taco casserole followed by her famous red velvet cake. Every holiday was topped off by a battle over her cheesecake which she always had made more than just one.
Donne was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Virginia Larkin; husband of 35 years, Ronal Hancock. Survivors include her children, Aron Hancock and wife Tonya, John Hancock and wife Stacie, Alf Hancock and wife Delaney; (10) grandchildren, Brayden McNair, Tyler, and Deakon Hancock, Bryce, Blake, and Dylan Baldwin, Maria Hancock, Alexandria, Andrew, and Teagan Hancock; (4) great-grandchildren, Parker Hancock, Tryston, Wesley and Emma Baldwin; cousin, Sharron Tullis; along with other family and friends.
A funeral will be held at 10:00 Wednesday, August 19, 2020, in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
