Charles Roy Schofield

Charles Roy Schofield was born August 15, 1955 in Chandler to Monroe and Mabel Schofield.  He passed away August 30, 2020 in Wellston at the age of 65.

Charles grew up in Wellston where he graduated with the class of 1973.  He joined the US Army serving four years on big gun armory.  He later worked for Tinker AFB as a manager over machinery and later as a heating and air technician.  Charles loved to fish in his spare time, a passion inherited from his dad.  Charles was a loving man who will be remembered as a friend to all who knew him.  He was compassionate about helping other people, especially his mom.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Mabel Schofield.  Survivors include his son, Wesley John Schofield; sister, Janet Terneus and her husband Bob; niece, Erica Terneus; nephew, Michael Terneus; along with other family and friends.

A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Wellston Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
