Charles Shelton Porter was born May 3, 1957 in Savannah, Georgia, one of nine children and always claimed to be the “middle child”.  He passed away October 4, 2022 at the age of 65.

Charles moved around throughout his life living in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Michigan where he lived much of his young life and where he graduated from high school.  He also lived in Houston, and New Mexico finally landing in Oklahoma where he has lived with his sister, Candice.  Charles proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2022 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel.  A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2022 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Chandler with interment later in the National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
