Carolyn Faye Box was born November 11, 1949, in Coweta, Oklahoma to William and Alice (Booth) Monholland. She passed away May 5, 2025, in Luther at the age of 75.

Carolyn loved flowers, especially roses, hummingbirds, fishing, and visiting with friends and church family. She always had a hot pot of coffee or a pitcher of tea to share.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; son Michael Joseph Box; siblings, Billy Monholland, David Monholland, Larry Monholland, William Monholland, Donna Monholland; and granddaughter, Jessica LeRae Moran. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Gator Box of the home; children, Carl Box (Paula) of Cadiz, KY, LeRae Box of Sperry, Olive Rains of Martinsburg, WV; daughter-in-law, Cindy Box of Jennings; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joyce Langford of Lawton, Perry Monholland (Rena) of Shawnee; along with other family and friends.

A funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, May 9, 2025, at Lehman Funeral Home with interment following in the Luther Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
