Carl A Johnson, III was born on June 20, 1957, in Escondido, California to Carl A Johnson II and Elizabeth L (Wehrung) Johnson. He passed into God’s hands on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the age of 67.

He was raised and attended schools in San Diego, California and Las Vegas, Nevada. Carl’s careers included four years in the Air Force as a Mechanic on the training jets, and over 40 years as a commercial and industrial Tile Installer. His hobbies included: playing golf, building model cars, building and flying model airplanes, and watching car races.

Carl is survived by his son, Scott Johnson of Texas, and four sisters: Kelly and Danny Driskel of Yale, Cynthia Johnson of Louisiana, Rochelle Johnson of Tulsa, and Linda and Bill Shephard of Oxford, New York; 11 nieces and nephews, 34 great-nieces and nephews, and 6 great-great nieces and nephews.

Service will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
