Obituary

Billy Jack Russell passed away March 2, 2022 at the age of 94 to be with his savior.  He was born August 11, 1927 in Strawn, Texas to Stephen and Jimmie Russell.

Bill served in the United States Airforce.  He and his wife Margaret formed Russell’s Auction south of Chandler in the early sixties.  They successfully built their business throughout the early seventies to be one of the foremost auction companies across the state.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings, the mother of his seven children, one granddaughter, one daughter-in-law and one son-in-law.  

He is survived by his children Billy, Claude (Carla), Cheryl (Ricky), Audrey (Tom), David (Linda), Kay, Kevin (Cherie), fourteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.  

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday March 4, 2022 at Lehman Funeral Home in Wellston, Oklahoma with his son Kevin Russell officiating and interment following in the Star Valley Cemetery East of Wellston.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home.
