Wayne Lloyd Spiva Sr. was born January 31, 1936 in Sulphur to John Willard and Lela Lena (Kincaid) Spiva. He passed away November 6, 2019 at his home in Agra at the age of 83.

Wayne worked as a carpenter in commercial construction for many years. He married Patricia Ellen Davidson in 1955 and they raised 5 children together.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and son-in-law, Gary Howell. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Patricia Spiva of the home; daughters, Patty and her husband Frank Rendel, Joanne Howell, Susan Gourley and her husband Larry; sons, Wayne Spiva Jr., and John Spiva; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 1 more on the way along with many other family and friends.

As per Wayne’s request, his family will not host a formal service but have come together to honor his memory. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
