Tony Jay Gilbert

Tony Jay Gilbert was born January 11, 1965 in Oklahoma City to J.D. and Betty Jo (Hayes) Gilbert.  He passed away June 18, 2019 in Shawnee at the age of 54.

Tony attended Wellston High School where he graduated with the class of 1983.  While in school he played football, basketball and baseball.  As an adult he enjoyed bowling.  Tony married Connie (Kettle) in 1986 and they raised 3 children together.  He later married Donna Ormand in 2011.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Gilbert; and his sister, Edith Gilbert.  Survivors include his mother, Betty Jo Gilbert of the home; children, Heather Mascho and her husband Doug, Amber Gilbert, Austin Gilbert all of Chandler; (4) grandchildren, Mark, Rylee, Tayson, Zayden; other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.  A graveside funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
