Timothy Brewton Obituary

Timothy Alan Brewton was born August 27, 1953 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Maurice Leroy Brewton, Jr. and Jan D’Arlene (Gosnell) Brewton.  He passed away February 14, 2018 in his home in Wellston at the age of 64.

Tim grew up in Oklahoma and Texas.  He worked for Southwest Electric in Oklahoma City until he became disabled due to health challenges.  Tim married the love of his life, Cynthia Lynn (Irwin), New Year’s Day January 1, 1982.  He enjoyed traveling and exploring the countryside from coast to coast.  Tim lived life to the fullest and loved being surrounded by “his girls”.  He was grateful for any time he had with his family.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Jan Brewton.  He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cindy Brewton, of the home; daughters, Carrie and her husband Doug Peterson of Wellston, Chelsea Brewton of Wellston; (3) granddaughters, Emalee, Alicia, Averie; brothers, Dan Brewton of California, Gary Brewton of Arkansas; sister, Diane Carter of South Dakota; along with many other family and friends.

A graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the City of Moore Cemetery in Moore under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
