Sharen Allen left us on November 26, 2017 at 12:45 a.m. in Tulsa, OK.  She was born June 17, 1949 to Ervin and Hazel (Wakley) Allen.  Sharen resided in Chandler her whole life up until 2 years ago when she moved to Durant to be close to her son’s family.  She worked many years at the sewing factory in Chandler then became a CNA and Social/Activity Director at the Chandler Nursing Center for 19 years.  She has many family members and friends that loved her dearly.

Sharen is preceded in death by her infant son, Christopher Allen, parents, Ervin and Hazel Allen; and brother-in-law, James Mitchell.  Survivors include her son, Jason Allen and his wife Aleasha; two beautiful granddaughters, Haylee and Taylor all of Durant; siblings, Judy and her husband Lester Lane of Cushing, Jan Mitchell of Chandler; twin sister, Karen Allen of Chandler, Ervin Allen Jr. and his wife Sherry of Prenville, OR, Pam and her husband Bob Loveless of Chandler; Steve Allen and his wife Glory of Chandler, Debbie and her husband Jerry Greenfield of Chandler; many nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.  Sharen was part of a large loving family and will be missed by us all. 

A Celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017 in the First Church of the Nazarene Fellowship Hall in Chandler.  Family and friends come and join us to celebrate Sharen.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
