Paul Daniel Palmer, Jr. was born December 6, 1967 in Torrejón, Spain to Paul Daniel Palmer, Sr. and Janice Karen (Golightly). He passed away December 29, 2018 in Shawnee at the age of 51.
Paul grew up moving around with a military family ending up in Edmond where he graduated from Edmond Memorial High School with the class of 1986. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, fast cars, fishing, hunting and all things outdoors. He was a talented musician who enjoyed writing music, singing, and playing his guitar. Paul spent time with friends visiting and drinking coffee and never met a stranger. He was a hard working best friend a person could ever have. He will be remembered for taking care of others. Paul’s grandchildren were the most important thing in his life along with his inseparable best friend and daughter, Hannah. He was the best husband anyone could have ever asked for.
Paul was survived by his wife of 16 years, Robin Jo (Ripley) Palmer of the home; children, Emily and her husband Caleb Parker of Edmond, Kayla Cavner and her wife Courtney of Guthrie, Hannah Palmer of the home; (5) grandchildren, Gavin Parker, Finley Parker, Blakely Parker, Maverick Cavner, Maddox Cavner; parents, Paul Sr. and Janice Palmer of Luther; brother, Vance Palmer of Maine; along with many other family and friends.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Doug Parker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
