Patricia Jean (Kelley) Legako

Patricia (Pat) Jean Kelley Legako, born April 13, 1944, to parents Orval Sylvanus Kelley and Mary Katherine Crisp Kelley. She passed away in her Edmond home, surrounded by friends and family, Sunday March 11, 2018 at the age of 73.

Pat graduated from Moore High School 1962. She attained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from OU School of Nursing 1965. She worked as an RN for 30 years. She retired from nursing and then earned her Doctorate of Ministry from Wagner Institute. Pat was active in ministry at her church, Church OnThe Rock in Oklahoma City, HAPN, and ISDM. Pat also developed and led a healing and counseling ministry; she co-authored a book, mentored others, and taught nationally on the subject.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband and best friend of over 50 years, Ronal Dee Legako; her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Dee and Yuki Matsuda Legako; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Adrienne, Ansel Taiki, and Pax Kiesuke; and her sister and husband Linda Anne Kelley Kukuk and Richard Dean Kukuk. Pat also leaves behind numerous 'adopted' children and 'adopted' grandchildren that will miss her as mom and grandma - the Howards, Williams, Porters, Moores and many others.

Whenever she saw you, Pat always smiled in genuine delight to see a good friend. Her faith in Christ and her love for her family and friends were her most prized possessions.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Church on the Rock Oklahoma City Campus located at 1780 W. Memorial Rd, Oklahoma City with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery in Wellston, Oklahoma.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
