Michael Scott Mullendore was born October 14, 1988 in Oklahoma City and passed away February 11, 2019 in Oklahoma City at the age of 30.
Michael grew up playing sports including t-ball, baseball, basketball, football, roller skating and was an accomplished tennis player having won a partners tournament while attending Choctaw High School. He is remembered for having hit an infield homerun at the Little League World Series in Arlington, Texas. Michael worked for a short time at AutoZone where he had customers who depended on him above all others. He enjoyed fixing up cars and re-selling them. He was a journeyman brick mason who was proud of his masonry work at the University of Oklahoma Athletics facility. He was a great help to others and was thought to be the “go-to guy” by many. Michael enjoyed fishing, camping with his friends. He enjoyed watching the History Channel and loved his daughter who was the light of his life.
Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Herman H. Rackley; and his namesake and uncle, Brian Scott Mullendore. Survivors include his daughter, Addisyn Emma Mullendore; parents, Rickie and Gerri Mullendore of Choctaw; siblings, Tony Mullendore of Choctaw, Vicky Patterson of Choctaw, Samantha Powell of Choctaw; grandparents, Emma Rackley of Choctaw, Eugene and Freda Mullendore of Wellston; niece, Macasey Paterson; and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February, 16, 2019 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Reverend Allen Carson with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
