Maryann Snipes was born on April 13, 1963 in Jackson, Michigan to Kenneth and Janice (Kilpatrick) Wellman.  She passed away on August 20, 2017 in Harrah at the age of 54.

Maryann enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to the lake, raising her pugs, Cookie and Yoshi, and studying serial killers. She proudly served for 6 years in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan for a year.

Maryann is preceded in death by her parents; son, Joseph Daniel Snipes; and her brother, Mike Wellman.  Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Joseph (Buster) Snipes of the home; children, Stacey and her husband, Jason Norton; Jennifer Hudson both of Memphis; (6) grandchildren; siblings, Karen Phillips, Matt Wellman and Tim Wellman all of Michigan; along with other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2017 in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
