Mary Elizabeth Strough was born November 16, 1958 in Fredrick, Oklahoma to James D. and Corene Valentine (Graves) Watkins. She passed away January 20, 2019 at the age of 60.

Mary grew up around Chandler and Davenport. She married Stephen Allen Strough June 15, 1991 and they raised their son together. Mary was a to-the-point type of lady with a great sense of humor. She was a great mother who loved her son and grandson very much.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, James Watkins. Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Stephen Allen Strough of the home; son, Stephen James Strough (Katlyn Hill) of Davenport; (1) grandson, Tanner Strough; mother, Corene Watkins of Kendrick; sisters, Zora Lewis (Larry) of Kendrick, Irene Watkins of Muskogee, Sherry Smith (Bobby) of Davenport, Lorene Smith of Bristow, Brenda Watkins (Jesse) of MacAlester; and other family and friends. A private memorial service was held by the family. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral home of Wellston.
